Bushmans Kloof is proud to share the exciting news of being nominated as the 5th ‘Top Hotel in the World’ by Travel + Leisure  - the leading travel magazine in the United States (August 2004). The lodge also claimed an impressive 4th place in both the ‘Top Hotels in Africa and Middle East’ category, as well as in the ‘Top 15 Small Hotels’ category.

 
Last year (2003) Travel + Leisure ranked Bushmans Kloof amongst the Top 25 Eco Lodges in the World. It was however a first for this unique Wilderness Reserve & Retreat to be competing against the very best hotels all over the globe, in the prestigious 2004 Top Hotel categories.
 
Bushmans Kloof is uniquely located in the Cederberg mountains, 270km from Cape Town. The Cederberg Wilderness area, as part of the Cape Floral Region, recently also made world headlines when it was classified as a World Heritage Site in recognition of its status as a place of ‘outstanding universal value’.
